Lenovo ThinkSystem 440-8e SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBA

The Lenovo ThinkSystem 440-8e and 440-16e SAS/SATA 12Gb HBAs are high performance PCIe 4.0 host bus adapters for external storage connectivity in ThinkSystem servers. The adapters provide either two or four x4 external mini-SAS HD connectors to provide connectivity to external storage devices such as ThinkSystem DE Series storage and LTO9 tape backup units.


The 440 external HBAs have the following features and specifications:
